The plans I was referring to are from nycsubway.org. I have the link included in part 1 of the kiosk article series as well as the necessary scale to print these at to make them N scale.

Honestly, this is really not that difficult of a scratch build. This was really the first thing I started building from scratch and then put it on a shelf because I was intimidated by it.

It’s really mostly just squares or rectangles of styrene with an occasional angle. Plus, the plans with full vintage measurements really help.

With a little patience, it comes together fairly well….the most difficult portion being the roof. In hind side, I wish I had put some additional time to create the cast iron shingle effect.

But…then again…there’s too many other things to build to get hung up on a kiosk.

Oh…and with that I forgot to say THANKS for the detailed tutorials…..and PLEASE make sure your wife has lots of new shoes to keep her happy…..don’t piss her off when she is vaccuming………

woweee….I’m flabergasted….I mean…although I’m aware of n-scale…this is someting else….Frank, I just don’t know how you created it..I find myself gasping in sheer disbelief when I scroled down to the picture of you actually holding it…..boy oh boy…..SO fantastic…..sort of like standing at the ’south rim’…..what can I say….
