SEPTA R1 Approach: 30th Street Station

This video, taken at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station, show a SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) regional train approaching the station platforms.

This train, a GE Silverliner IV S/E (#436) is know as the SEPTA R1 and its route known as the Airport Line — connecting 30th Street Station with Philadelphia International Airport.  The line leaves 30th Street on the Northeast Corridor and then splits from the Corridor, crossing over it and route I-95 before reaching the airport.

Nice video Frank. I haven’t been to 30th Street Station in several years.

Actually, I have to give Chris the credit on the video. We both took video of the same train approaching the platform, but his came out better, so I used his. I just added the fancy N Scale Limited into and ending on the video.
