Scratch Build a Billboard Frame pt2

In part two of building an art deco billboard frame we continue with painting and weathering.  The quality is almost as bad as the videos in part one, I became a little more comfortable in front of the camera so that helped a little.

Construction Continues

Conclusion

I hope you were able to enjoy this set of videos on building this little project and are able to hopefully take something valuable with you to use.  I had fun creating this for the most part, there were a few issues but because of these I should be able to produce something better.  I wont be doing a video for every project I build because of the amount of time it requires, but I will try to do my best.

Here are a few photos of the completed framework.

    That’s cool, thank you!

Great project Chris. My only problem is a lack of printable drawings. Tried watching the videos. I must say I am new to “N” Scale. Actually, it’s my first train since I had “S” Scale, American Flyer, back in the ’50s. Tells you how old I am.

Enjoying reading this site on New Years Day. What a way to start 2010.

    Harold,
I am glad you like the frame and the site. I don’t know why I neglected to add drawings of the frame, thank you for pointing that out. I will try to whip some up over the weekend and either post them with this article or as a new article with another design to boot. Stay tuned and I will get them posted for you.
