This was made from two Bruce’s Bakery kits. The main modification was to the first floor. I removed the store fronts and added a foundation to raise the first floor. The ground floor was then replaced with leftover Vollmer parts for the center doorway and I made styrene overhead doors for both sides. The upper windows were trimmed with cut down leftover Vollmer parts. The only items purchased for this build were the Gold Medal fire escape and the Miller Engineering air conditioners. Everything else came from my “junk” boxes. Even the Athern fire truck was an extra I had on hand.
