Bruce’s Bakery: Third Place

The N Scale Limited Bruce’s Bakery Build contest has ended. Thank you to everyone that entered. We will be announcing winners each day, starting with third place. Once we announce all winners, we’ll also post the overall results (including the placement for Chris and Frank, which are not otherwise counted). In our final post, we’ll identify who built each model.

Once we identify any model, you may discuss it openly and the owner may post addtional photos.

Third Place: Tie!

Our readers have voted and we have a tie for third place. Each third place modeler has received 8.25% of the vote.

Per the rules of the contest, ties are to be decided by the owners of N Scale Limited. This was a tough decision and both models are well done.

The tie was between Entry No. 2, by Jimmi Boyer and Entry No. 3, by Kirk Vena.

We have decided that Jimmi’s firehouse — being a true kitbash that transforms the Bruce’s Bakery kit into an entirely different structure —  is our thrid place winner. We love the details of this kit and the imagination it took to see past this very common kit  and change it into something radically different. Great job, Jimmi!

Certainly, not to dismiss Kirk’s entry, tied for third by popular vote. Kirk’s model was a very unique approach and surprisingly very prototypical! Google it! Another really great job and our readers clearly liked this one just as much as the firehouse!

Congratulations to both of you.

Well done Kirk and Jimmi, You both did a fantastic job. Kirk, If I didn't look at photos of the prototype back when you first asked me if your idea was okay to use, I would have thought it was something you made up. Both of you had by far the most creative use for the BB kit out of all of the entries. Thank you for entering.
